About the Registry

The Actors Registry was formed in November 2012, in response to the need for filmmakers and others to find local talent, and for talent to learn about projects shooting on the Central Coast. Since its inception, countless plays, commercials, independent films, television shows, and student projects have been successfully cast.

The Actor' Registry is not an agency and takes no percentages; rather, it serves as a clearing house, providing announcements of auditions, workshops, and other opportunities to its members. 

Actors of all ages and experience levels are welcome to sign up to become members of the registry by filling out a Talent Form. There is no fee. Parents: please see special instructions for minors.

 

Producers, Directors and others seeking talent should fill out a Casting Notice Form, detailing their project and what they are looking for. We send your notice to our growing registry of members. Our actors respond directly to the contact information provided on your Casting Notice. This basic service is free. If you require casting assistance or are looking for all-inclusive casting services, including hiring us as a Casting Director, we offer several fee-based packages.
